# 37. Windows + Number Keys (1–9): Launch or Switch to Taskbar Apps
Pinning your most-used apps to the taskbar is smart, but there’s an even faster way to open or switch between them.
Press **Windows + 1**, **Windows + 2**, etc., to launch the app in that position on the taskbar. If the app is already open, it switches to that window. This shortcut turns your taskbar into a super-fast app launcher for daily tools like browser, email, or file explorer.
