Dad Is Definitely Alive
Using a tragedy as an excuse to get out of social obligations is a risky and morally questionable move. This person clearly didn’t realize that if you use a death in the family to skip a dinner, you probably shouldn’t post about your night out on the town.
After telling a friend she couldn’t make it because her boss’s father had passed away, she proceeded to post photos of herself enjoying cocktails with her husband. The friend she stood up—and her very much alive boss—both saw the post.
