Social media users can be incredibly observant, so it pays to think twice before posting a caption that contradicts the laws of physics. One guy posted a photo of himself covering his eyes, clearly feeling like he had captured a “cute” aesthetic.
He tried to justify the pose by claiming the sun was blinding him, but a friend noticed a glaring contradiction. She pointed out that since his shadow was clearly visible directly in front of him, the sun had to be behind him—not in his eyes.
