19. Bobby Driscoll (Age 31)

Bobby Driscoll was Disney’s golden boy of the 1940s and 1950s. He starred in classics likeTreasure Island,Song of the South, andThe Window, and became the voice of Peter Pan in the 1953 animated film. He was the first child actor to receive a long-term contract at the studio and even won a Juvenile Oscar.
Tragically, Bobby’s life unraveled after his Disney days. Battling drug addiction and feeling abandoned by Hollywood, he died at 31 from heart failure caused by his substance abuse. His body was found in an abandoned New York building and buried in a pauper’s grave until Disney fans later identified him. His story remains one of the most heartbreaking examples of child stardom’s dark side.
