Shannen Doherty owned the small screen as Brenda Walsh on *Beverly Hills, 90210* and Prue Halliwell on *Charmed*. Her fiery charisma made her a teen idol and TV powerhouse, with networks planning long-term franchises and spin-offs built around her star power.
Repeated on-set clashes and reports of “difficult” behavior led to her being fired from *90210* in 1994 and eventually written out of *Charmed* in 2001. The pattern followed her into later projects. What could have been decades of TV royalty instead became a string of guest spots and reality shows. Her once-guaranteed spotlight dimmed permanently.
