# 34. Shift + F10: Open Context Menu (Right-Click Alternative)
When your mouse stops working or you simply want to stay on the keyboard, accessing the right-click menu can become annoying.
Press **Shift + F10** on any selected item (file, folder, text, or desktop) to open the context menu. It works almost everywhere and is a reliable backup for mouse-dependent operations.
