That’s a Weird Comparison
They say you get to choose your friends but not your family. This card takes that logic and applies it to romance in a very uncomfortable way. It claims a girlfriend is like a “sister you choose.” We’re going to have to pass on that metaphor. That sounds more like a legal issue than a romantic compliment!
Maybe it was intended for “Galentine’s Day,” but for a romantic partner, it’s just bizarre. Most shoppers would be rightfully weirded out by this one!
