26. Heather O’Rourke – Poltergeist III (1988)
Child star Heather O’Rourke, famous for “They’re here!” in Poltergeist, collapsed at home and died in 1988 from septic shock at age 12.
Poltergeist III was released posthumously, with her mother later settling a wrongful death lawsuit against the hospital. The film marked the final chapter for the young actress who starred in the entire franchise.
