15. Natalie Wood – Brainstorm (1983)
Natalie Wood drowned on November 29, 1981, at the age of 43 during a Catalina Island boat trip with her husband Robert Wagner and Brainstorm co-star Christopher Walken. Investigators never determined exactly what happened.
Brainstorm was delayed and eventually completed with rewrites and her younger sister Lana standing in for some scenes. The film was released in 1983 with the dedication “to Natalie,” giving fans one last look at the star of Rebel Without a Cause and West Side Story.
